Modern paragliders are sophisticated high-tech wings made of light but strong material that create personal aircrafts that can be packed away and carried on your shoulders.

 

In expert hands, with no power but the movement of the atmospheric air alone, you can be: airborne for hours, climb several miles and cover several hundred miles.
